Welcome to Incentive Development Action
Incentive Development Action (IDA) was created in 2022 and registered in June 2023. with a vision to address certain pertinent issues plaguing the society and to bring humanitarian relief to victims/survivors in Cameroon. The vision was founded by Nadine Mebune, Akabum Elvis, Ako Solomon, Patu Mohammed, and Emilia Ngole, some of the other members are based in the diaspora. Operating under the Ministry of Territorial Administration in Cameroon, IDA concentrates on community education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and livelihood support for marginalized children, women, and youths, specifically in remote forest areas.
Our Programs
CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change remain a threat to humanity. We carry out project on climate change mitigation, adaptation, livelihood assistance, resilience and governance of global common. We also carry out projects on resilient renewable energy
AGRICULTURE
We focus on food systems and climate-smart agriculture (CSA) across the entire agriculture and food value chains, including Biodiversity and the blue economy. Innovative Eco-Farming in Rural and Urban Centers for nutrition and food security
GENDER EQUALITY
We advocate for gender equality, equity and justice to trigger social transformation in our communities. Embark on projects that shift power toward women, girls and marginalized communities.
ADVOCACY
We do advocacy. We also work on raising awareness; raising capacity of civil society actors, of public authorities, as well as lawyers and human rights defenders, and we equally conduct human rights advocacy before administrative and judicial authorities
TRAINING PROGRAMS
Training programs work to promote values by supporting entrepreneurship and leadership development. We support technical and vocational training, expansion of access to leadership development and capacity building for youth, women and other advantaged groups.
STATELESSNESS
We work to prevent statelessness and protect the rights of stateless persons. Conduct training and awareness raising and advocacy. INCENTIVE DEVELOPMENT ACTION [IDA] will fill the knowledge gap, sensitize people who lack awareness, legal status, identification, birth registration.
